As of 17 April 2013, electronic visa (e-Visa) replaces ‘sticker visa’ which was issued at the border crossings. In order to obtain a visa to enter Turkey, please log on to https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ and provide the requested information. After your visa application is approved, make online payment and download their e-Visa. Please note that electronic visa to enter Turkey is only valid when the purpose of travel is tourism and commerce. You may also find out if you are eligible for e-visa or not, filling out necessary areas on the website. If you are still not sure about your eligibility, please consult the nearest Turkish Diplomatic Mission in your area. Other purposes, such as work and study, require regular visa by the Embassies or Consulates of Turkey.
