REGULAR GROUP TOURS: 

These 3 tours are regular group tours in English. There are about 15-20 people on the tours and operates between 09:00-17:00 with pick-up and drop-off from your hotel. The tours include transportation with air-conditioned buses, entrance fees, lunch and professional guidance. The tour guides speak fluent English and licensed by The Ministry of Culture and specialized on the sites. The regular group tours include some shopping visits as natural part of the tours, but of course, purchasing any items are not necessary. During the private tours, you may skip the shopping visits informing your guide at the beginning of the tour(s).  

North Cappadocia Tour: You will be picked up from your hotel at around 09:00-09:30 and start the day visiting Devrent Valley, also known as "Imagination Valley", this is the most surreal-looking landscape. Your next stop will be Pashabagi called also the Monks Valley because Christian hermits chose to locate hermit cells and churches in these three-headed pinnacles symbolic of the Holy Trinity, it´s possible to see all the stages in the formation of fairy chimneys at this spot. Proceed to Avanos (Vanessa) the pottery center of Cappadocia, this village is set on the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River. The river gets its name from the red clay it deposits. You can watch the potters at work using kick wheels, the technique which has remained unchanged for generations. Lunch. Continue to Goreme Open Air Museum. The world´s most important Byzantine cave churches are found in these once remote valleys where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century on. Here you can see the best preserved Byzantine cave wall paintings and frescos from the Iconoclastic period through to the end of Seljuk rule. Icons with scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament above portraits of Church Fathers and saints depict the structure of the Byzantine universe. Panoramic view point Esentepe. With a spectacular view over Goreme from Esentepe see the complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.

South Cappadocia Tour: You will be picked up from your hotel at around 09:00-09:30 and start the day with a walk in Red Valley, famous for its rocks capes, local culture and historical sights. Depending on the season, you may see local people plowing their gardens or harvesting their crops. This walk normally takes 2 - 3 hours. At the end of your walk you will reach Cavusin Village. Here a spectacular rock castle that once housed everyone in the village is awaiting you. Climbing up on the top of the castle you can see the ruins of Saint John the Baptists, a very large Byzantine church. Walk around the castle and visit some of the homes that were lived in until recently. Lunch. Continue driving to Kaymakli Underground City, one of the best preserved and most visited Underground Cities in Cappadocia. This city is approximately 40m deep. It contains all the usual rooms found in an underground city (stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches, wineries etc.). Continue to Pigeon Valley a spectacular view of old abandoned cave homes and old Greek houses of Uchisar. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Ihlara Valley and Derinkuyu Underground City Tour: You will be picked up from your hotel at around 09:00-09:30 and start the tour with a spectacular view over Goreme from Esentepe. You will see the complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses. Continue driving to Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the best preserved and deepest Underground Cities in Cappadocia. Derinkuyu is excavated to a depth of approximately 85 m. It contains all the usual rooms found in an underground city (stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches, wineries etc.), a large room on the second floor was a missionary school with study rooms. Proceed to Ihlara Valley. This gorge is 16 km long and both sides are lined with rock carved churches, there are more than a hundred little churches and houses. You will walk about 4 km along the river in the valley exploring the hidden churches. At the end of your walk lunch will be served at Belisirma Village by the river. On the way back visit Selime Monastery, carved out of the rock by Christian monks in the 13th century. The size of the church makes a visit here astonishing. Stop briefly at Yaprakhisar Panorama point for another view of this great Monastery (this is also the spot where famous movie "Star Wars" was shot). After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

These 6 tours are small group tours with around 8-15 people. The tours are led by a professional English speaking tour guide, starting at around 09:00 with pickup from hotels and ending at around 16:30. Transportation w/ A/C vehicles, lunch (except drinks), entrance fees and guidance in English are included in the tours. The tours can be arranged private in any language for couples, families or small groups.

SMALL GROUP TOURS: 

Small Groups Cappadocia Green Tour: Pick up from your hotel and you will visit Kaymakli Underground City (see how the people lived in this multi-level city complete with stables, kitchens, storage chambers and wine making rooms), Soganli Valley (Relaxing 3km. walking through the valley with Byzantine period rock tombs), lunch in a local restaurant, Sobesos(A Roman Bath from the 5th century and mosaics and graves from Byzantine Empire Period), Taskinpasa Medresesi(an Ottoman theological school), and Mustafapasa(Experience the Ottoman and Greek architecture of this old Greek Village once called Sinasos).

Small Groups Cappadocia Blue Tour: You will be picked up from your hotel at around 09:00-09:30 You will visit Devrent Imagination Valley and walk through this lunar landscape. Next, visit Pasabaglari (the world-famous Fairy Chimneys), the village of Avanos, where you will witness a Pottery-making demonstration using ancient Hittite techniques, lunch in a local restaurant, Uchisar Rock-Castle, (the highest point in the region, Esentepe (a panoramic view of Goreme valley) and Goreme Open Air Museum (Rock-cut churches, frescoes, monastery).

Small Groups Cappadocia Hiking Tour: Cappadocia hiking tour is a half day (morning or afternoon) activity from sunset point (Kizilcukur) to Cavusin through Rose Valley. This valley holds different colors and types of rock formations. Visit the churches of Uzumlu and St. Nicholas. Finish the hike in Cavusin Village, where the people still live in rock-cut dwellings and stone houses. It takes about 3 - 4 hours and the path is in one of the most interesting valleys of Cappadocia. Please do not forget your sun glasses and hat with you. Comfortable shoes recommended on the tour.

Small Groups History & Adventure Tour: The History and Adventure Tour starts at 10:30 by pick-up from your hotel. After a 5-minute drive we will start our hike in the beautiful Rose Valley which will take slightly more than one hour. We will see fairy-chimneys, local farms, pigeon houses and cave chapels – as well as take in the wonderful range of rose-colored hues in the valley, changing in intensity depending on the season, time of day and weather conditions. Your guide will give information about the history and the unique formations of Cappadocia during the hike. At the end of the hike, we will have a quick stop at the picturesque old Cavusin Cave village for about 15 minutes. Our next stop will be Monks Valley (Pasabagi), where we will see the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys and St. Simeon's monk cell. Then, we will drive to Goreme for the lunch. In the afternoon, we tour the Kaymakli underground city, the first and most popular underground city in Cappadocia area. This huge complex carved underground is used for hundreds of years by local people to hide from Romans, Byzantines, Persians and Arabs. We will then drive back to your hotel. The tour ends around 16:30.

Small Groups Explore and Hike Tour: The Explore and Hike Tour visits southern Cappadocia and starts at 09:30 by pick-up at your hotel. After our guide's introduction to Cappadocia at the Goreme panoramic view point, we drive about 1 hour and visit the most spectacular gorge of Turkey: Ihlara. 6 km hike in the Ihlara Valley will be highlight of our day. The Melendiz River has carved an impressive canyon through the verdant valley and we will walk about two hours along the river, passing Byzantine rock chapels decorated with frescoes. Especially the first half of the hike where we will be the only tourists walking, is totally peaceful. We end the hiking portion of the tour near Belisirma village, where we will have lunch in a quaint riverside restaurant in which you can taste the delicious trout fishes or grills. After lunch, we stop at the biggest rock-cut monastery of Cappadocia, Selime Monastery and Cathedral. Selime is the biggest rock-cut cathedral of Cappadocia and located at the end of Ihlara Valley. It has been used as a fortress by both Byzantine and Seljuk armies during 10th to 12th centuries. We will then drive back to hotels and finish the tour around 16:30.

Small Groups Cappadocia Undiscovered Tour: Our Cappadocia Undiscovered Tour offers the more remote and serene locations in Cappadocia including the deepest underground city of Turkey, an old Greek Village and the magnificent Soganli Valley among other highlights. Your Cappadocia Undiscovered tour begins with a pick-up at your hotel at around 10:00 and a drive to Mustafapasa, the former Greek Village Sinasos with spectacular architecture. We will walk around the village, learning about the population exchange from 1924, the wealthy merchants and locals who once thrived in this town. We then drive to the Sobesos Excavation Site. This site is currently being excavated and we will see the Roman bath, tombs, temple and beautiful mosaics already unearthed. The next stop will be Soganli Valley, one of the most secluded and tranquil valleys in Cappadocia. We begin our hike along one side of the valley, visiting many cave churches and we return along the other side of the valley to the quaint village. You will also have your lunch in this lovely valley. After having lunch, we will drive to Derinkuyu Underground City. Used to be known as Melagobia, Derinkuyu was one of the biggest settlements in Cappadocia and its 8 level underground city is the deepest of the region today. We will explore the caves of this interesting city and talk about the way of life here. The tour will end around 16:30.
